Pomegranate Seed Oil

Our Pomegranate Seed Oil (Punica granatum) is pressed from pomegranate seeds grown in a nearby village, after the juice is extracted to make pomegranate vinegar. We take the seeds and put them through a multi-step process to wash, clean and dry them before they are ready for pressing. Pomegranate seed oil has an extremely low yield, so you can imagine how many pomegranates it takes to make just one small bottle of oil! We press the seeds in our expeller at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, after which we double-filter it before bottling.

Pomegranate Seed Oil is a major ingredient in our seasonal face oil. It contains a unique polyunsaturated fatty acid (Omega-5) called punicic acid, and it has a heavier and thicker texture, but still absorbs into the skin completely. Pomegranates are an ancient fruit well-known for their many health benefits, and the seed oil is no exception!

Product Information:

All of our products are made with 100% natural extracts. We add 2% moringa oil for its antioxidant effect. As nature is diverse, each plant is unique, leading to variations in color and fragrance of our essential oils, seed and nut oils, and extracts.

Caution & Care:

Store in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. If that is not possible, keep in the refrigerator. Do not use if allergic to any ingredients. Always conduct a patch test before applying to the skin.
