Citrus Petitgrain Essential Oil

Our latest batch of Citrus Petitgrain Essential oil was distilled in March 2025 from the leaves, green twigs and blossoms of Citrus trees sourced from an organic farm, and various gardens of people in our area. We collaborate with farmers and families that traditionally prune their trees after the last fruits are harvested, and when the trees start to form new blossoms and small fruits. We collect the prunings, and sometimes we go ourselves to peoples’ houses to give their trees a haircut and remove the branches! We then prepare the material by chopping it and putting them in the still. We run the distillation for three to four hours, and the yield is very low, between 0.1-0.3%! 

Citrus Petitgrain Essential Oil has a scent of fresh citrus with grassy and woody hints. We think it’s a complete spectrum essential oil, because it has base notes (woody), middle notes (herbal) and top notes (floral). It is used in perfumery, but also against anxiety and stress.

Our Citrus Petitgrain Essential Oil in 2025 is a blend of lemon, mandarin, bitter orange, sweet orange and pomelo prunings.

Caution & Care:

Store in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. The shelf life of distilled essential oils if properly stored is up to five years.
