There's no "strawberry" essential oil at Liven

We’re often asked:
“Why don’t you make strawberry?”
“Do you have vanilla?”
“What about berry scents?”
It’s a great question—and the answer is simpler than you might think.
Most fruity scents like strawberry, mango, coconut, or “sweet berry” don’t actually exist as essential oils.
Essential oils are created through distillation or cold pressing. This works beautifully for citrus peels, herbs, flowers, woods, and resins, the parts of plants that naturally release aromatic compounds.
But strawberries?
They don’t yield essential oil. There is no natural strawberry essential oil.
So when you come across products scented like strawberry, vanilla cupcake, or tropical fruits, those aromas are usually fragrance oils: synthetically created in a lab to imitate a scent.
At Liven, we choose a different path.
We work only with ingredients that come directly from nature—oils that can be distilled, pressed, or naturally extracted from real plants.
It’s not about limitation.
It’s about transparency.
If nature doesn’t produce it as an oil, we don’t create the illusion of it.
That’s why you’ll find scents like citrus, lavender, pine, and rosemary—true aromatic expressions of the natural world.
Not artificial berries.
So next time you ask about a fruity scent, you’ll know why.
