We're Expanding!

As many of you know, from 2022-2024 Liven operated from a family house in Maroni. And it's also no secret that while we love our location in Kornos, we quickly ran out of storage space and areas to expand our production. So perhaps it's no coincidence that as we searched for a new warehouse, the perfect spot presented itself...in Maroni. The building, which used to house a chicken hatchery, has been undergoing renovation since January, and starting in the first week of May we'll begin the process of relocating our storage and production to the new building.

We're working hard to minimize any disruption to our supply of oils, but we apologize in advance, and appreciate your understanding, if we run out of some blends or base oils in May and are a bit slower to restock them. The ultimate goal of this expansion is to allow us to satisfy requests for new resellers to stock our oils, and increase some wholesale quantities for export. It has been our intention to supply the island first and foremost, so even as we expand and look a bit further afield, it is our commitment to never sacrifice availability of our products in the local market in favor of markets or customers abroad.

We look forward to sharing more about our new location in the coming weeks and months. We will reduce our activity in Kornos for the month of May, but intend to announce a summer schedule and hours for June onwards. Some of our new machinery (aside from a solar PV system that will run almost all of our production entirely on renewable energy), is focused on sustainability, particularly as it relates to reuse of our glass bottles. Soon we will announce our program for returning your used bottles so we can wash and sterilize them. The bottles and labels, aside from some spare parts for our equipment, are currently the only materials we import from outside Cyprus, so this is a large step towards reducing our carbon footprint and improving our sustainable practices.
