Shipping Update - We can send to the USA again! And other news...
Share
We had to stop sending orders to the USA at the end of summer, due to Cyprus Post refusing to accept packages until the tariff collection mechanism was worked out. So we had to get creative, sending with friends that were traveling, but it wasn't ideal, and led to long waits. So, now we've been informed that Cyprus Post is accepting packages again! But, we need to pre-pay the customs duty. So, if you'd like to place an order, please go ahead and order through the website, then send us an email (or we'll get in touch with you) so we can arrange separately the payment for the duty. There is no way at the moment to do it automatically through checkout, sadly. It seems to be around 20% with the handling fee, which frankly means you're paying about what the local tax rate is (19%).
For local orders, we still send via ACS or AKIS (4€), and we can also arrange home delivery direct to your house (8€) with ACS. We'll be adding that option to our website shortly. You can of course come pick your order from our workshop in Kornos, we love meeting our customers and community!
We don't send orders everyday, but usually twice a week. We aren't in a big city so it's difficult for us to drive every day to the nearest post office/courier point. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
